| The Yanmar 4JH3E
56 PS Diesel looks a bit lost. The boat's carcass is already at an
advanced stage. The keel is welded and the tanks are built in. |

cover of the keel tank, next to it the toilet floor with shower sump
and right behind it the waste water tank. |

Construction of the BLUE PEARL |
|
| Even
though the completion of the Blue Pearl came to an end, we are still
interested in construction and investigation. In fact, this interest
induced us to share some of our ideas and solutions. The future
will show whether they will stand the test. |

in its carcass. Round-framed hulls are built headfirst. Striking
are the strongly dimensioned stringers and frames, which are covered
with aluminium sheets, in the deck range with 4.5 mm and at the hull
with 6 and 8 mm. The keel is made with 9 and 12 mm aluminium sheets
and the floor of the keel with 22 mm. As soon as stringers and frames
are welded with the skin (shell), the hull will be righted (turned
180°). |

are in its carcasse. |
